Fortunately Somali parliament doesn't run on the small minded petty tribal grudges.
Word has reached me THINGS ARE SPEEDING UP.
Originally the Somali Parliament was to take up and vote on a motion asking Kenya to remove its troops IF Kenya did not accept the ICJ verdict (provided Somalia won the court case).
HOWEVER, because of the violation of Somalia's airspace by Kenya and the presence of Kenyan officials in Kismaayo as a result of that, PARLIAMENT HAS DECIDED TO TAKE UP THAT MOTION NOW!
As a show of unity, the motion will be introduced jointly by representative from all 5 Federal States.
The Parliament will also FORMALLY CONDEMN the participants of the Kismaayo charade as having worked in the interest of Somalia's enemies.
If the Parliament votes to remove Kenyan troops from Somalia, the Somali Government will OFFICIALLY ask the African Union to remove Kenya from AMISOM.
I am told IGAD (led by Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Eritrea) will also at that point signal "strong support" for the position of the Somali Gov.
Official legitimacy will be lost for Kenya at that point; any presence of Kenyan troops in Somalia at that point will be considered an invasion.
Things will be speeding up faster than we originally assumed (really because of the reer baadiye nature of Kenya's actions---they don't even know how to interfere effectively).
