Ok, when I rented this movie I was waiting for the Jew hero and the Christian victims etc. But, you know what, it was actually pretty good, that Saladin was amazing and it put the Muslims in a good light (surprising for a Hollywood movie). All in all, I thought it was a good movie.

Yeah its not a bad movie. I think its the first time Arabs were not portrayed as villains.

Saladin was amazing, i studied the Crusades back in my A-levels History, and believe me HOLLYWOOD galamourised it because i believe they got help from Ridley Scot, the only crusader writer that they all rely on, but he was biased, there were so many things that they left out from the orginal texts and thats the beauty of it, u get to read the original data without the americans lying about it

SALAH DIN was not arab but an ethnic Kurd born in damuscus, syria

isnt it funny how this great man's peoples are subject to all kinds of mistreatment by the arabs, turks, and persians.
