Is it fair that Garowe & Kismaayo receive more investment than Mogadishu?

The World Bank today approved a $112 million grant to deliver prioritized infrastructure in Somalia’s cities and strengthen municipal government capacity. The Somalia Urban Resilience Project (SURP) II will support infrastructure investments in strategic cities such as Mogadishu, Garowe, Kismayo

Garowe, population 100,000. Funding = $28 million for road projects
Kismaayo, population 150,000. Funding = $28 million for road

Mogadishu population 3,000,000. Funding = £28 million

Mogadishu is the only city that pays taxes to the federal government.

Kismaayo and Garowe are capitals for maamul gobaleeds and will get their fair share of maalgashi no matter what. Mogadishu is the capital of the country and belongs to all somalis from ras caseyr to ras kamboni not any one qabil and it also gets its share.

It’s not just Kismaayo or Garowe it’s Puntland and Jubbaland whole, plus it’s not just Mogadishu pop that is 3 mill, it’s whole Banadir.
Did you count all the roads, hospitals and projects completed by a Turkeys the last 5 yrs in Mogadishu?

i support fair distribution of investment funds. Italian scholar once said in his book he knew Somali state was going to collapse cause of the move from rural to Mogadishu wich was the only urban area this has imposed an undue burden on the Govt wich was not able to provide electricity to all of them. alot of our diaspora have built and bought houses in baladweyne but soon after they move to there they regret it and sell their houses and then move to Xamar do you know why? lack of sevices and hospitals and good living standards that is why Xamar is booming with building industry. my clan have 25 hotels in Xamar. so if you provide the service for the regions there will be reverse migration from Xamar to central regions and from cities to villages and by rationally managing urban and agro-pastoral economies and making balance between resources.

Hirshablle and Galmudug were in the planning stage i dont mind if they start it with the other FMS.
