Failmaajo's fake, half-hearted, insulting "apology" to "Waqooyi"

That's not an apology, it's massive, passive aggressive insult from the delusional fucker Farmaajo. The wording he is using is deeply insulting and offensive. We don't need his f-king apology. He just needs to fuck off from Somaliland's business. Does he really think fake half hearted little speeches like this and Somaliland is going to come back with its tail between its legs and beg to join the chaotic, failed, war torn, terrorism infested Somalia? We're not that pathetic





He continuously calls Somaliland Waqooyi in his speech... the North. Not once does he refer to Somaliland..

In doing so He is refusing to refer to Somaliland by its name. He can't even afford us that. Uma quudhayo uu inuu yidhaahdo Somaliland, xaasidnimo iyo nacab awaadeed. If he can't even bother to refer to Somaliland by it's proper name, he can fuck right off. We're called Somaliland, either call us by our name, or don't talk to us at all.

He refers to Somaliland and SNM as: Jabhado oo sheeganaya in cadaalad darro ku dhacday, oo sheeganaya cabasho badan (militias claiming that injustice was committed against them, claiming many complaints").

Nigga tens of thousands of people were killed, entire families were wiped out. What the fuck do you mean sheeganaya/claiming? What the fuck do you mean cabasho/complains? Aint nothing a claim or a complaint. It's a f-king verifiable, internationally acknowledged fact that the Siad Barre dictatorship committed genocide in Somaliland.

He says... Dhibkaas ka dhacay waqooyi...the problems that happened in Waqooyi.

Nigga a dhib/problem is when you have a flat tire. It's if you lose 10 dollars, or a camel or goat. Genocide of tens of thousands of men, women, children, elderly is not "dhibkaas". Poisoning of well, laying of thousands of mines and bombing entire cities, is not "dhibkaas". Mass murder and incarceration of culimaa, businessmen and students, is not "dhibkaas". Now the real facts...

Northern Somalia has been flattened, raped and traumatised by Siyad Barre's forces. Whole towns have been destroyed. Mines are everywhere, still wreaking havoc on defenceless people. The cracked minarets [of the mosques] symbolise the barbarity. This was a war of total destruction. He still cannot understand how in a country where everyone is Muslim even the house of God was not a safe haven. This was a war waged by Godless people.

President Barre had given orders to his army to exterminate the Isaaq people of the North. Nearly the whole of Northern Somalia is in ruins. No town, no village is left untouched. What remains of the major town of Hargeisa is bullet riddled walls, car wrecks, and twisted steel.

The local SNA army commander, General Morgan, the son in law of Barre, had earlier written a "death letter", in which he asked the president permission to destroy the Isaq clan of Somalia.

Nearly half a million residents lived [in Hargeisa] until 1988 in relative prosperity. In Hargeisa alone an estimated 50,000 people lost their lives. Only 5% of the buildings in Hargeisa still stand - the ones in which the government soldiers resided.

Hargeisa, the second town of Somalia and once the capital of British Somaliland, will have to entirely be rebuilt. The totality of destruction in Northern Somalia is beyond description. It is as if a nuclear bomb had exploded in this town. On the road from Hargeisa via Berbera to Burao, a penetrating smell warns of rotting human flesh. From the rubble of a blown up tank, a shrivelled leg sticks out. On the tarmac lies a decomposing flattened body.

I think his apology was right and it's a possative step forward , no one can deny or be little the crimes and atrocities committed by former government against reer Waqooyi , I think majority of people from there accept it and believe it's time to bury the hedges go forward and not to live in the p ast , after all 30 years passed and many things happened since , I think Biihi can contribute in a big way since he is an experienced man who was involved what happened and served former government
