It's finally up!
AIMS------AID INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS!
Has GEDO been EQUITABLY apportioned all these years? Has CAABUDWAAQ? JUBBALAND?
Saddam it's time to spread this to Nabad and Nolol all over Twitter man. We need ALL pieces of information...have Somalis been treated EQUITABLY.
Are there INCONSISTENCIES, INEQUALITIES, AND DISPARITIES that are existing having to do with UNEQUAL distribution of AID?
We need to see what EVERY region, district, town, and even VILLAGE has been getting.
Are there certain NGOS or certain FACILITATORS or certain CONSULTANTS that have had disparate inpact??

interesting, find but it does not breakdown on province or district level.
as for the year 2019 to 2020 somaliland had the most aid at 218 million dollars followed by FGS 200 million and then puntland at 180 million.
jubbaland got 138 million in aid. All ahmed madoobe has to show for it is 1 shiny new building in kismaayo, i know dollow and luuq had a few buildings build but other then that i don't see where to 138 million was spent.
between 2018 and 2019 jubbaland got 237 million in aid and FGS got 400 million in aid.
another thing you need to look at is what kind of a project is being implemented in jubbaland? is actual infrastructure development or crap like peace building, raising awareness of an issue and strengthening capacity.

There needs to be a bottom up process implemented in building up the institutions of Jubbaland. It doesn't make sense for security and developmental changes to take such a long time. The money allocated to Jubbaland is only behind the FGS, Puntland, and Somaliland and it doesn't have to be that way long term.
Without the input of honest minded and educated diaspora the region won't grow at the pace that we'd all like. Since many of us are able to view these sort of reports and see the numbers for what they are it'd be easy to stop there and not do much about it. But if your able to convey this message to the locals in a way that'll resonate with them and make it a real sticking point I believe you can bring about real change on the ground.
This coronovirus situation has obviously put a halt on many of the changes that were suppose to be nearing a conclusion. But either way a political shift has to occur soon or this ongoing standoff will only effect our ability to make the necessary changes. The last several years of this Jubbaland project has been pretty much defunct for all intended purposes and hopefully that'll change very soon.

That is insane. I didn't realize Jubbaland was getting that much money. This is in addition to the port and airport money plus whenever they earn from the illegal charcoal trade and sugar smuggling business. Madoobe really needs to be removed. I didn't realize he was holding back the region this much.Nomand wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 8:48 am jubbaland got 138 million in aid.
