Just got told my sources close to me. AL Shabaab has declared ceasefire. They used Covid19 as the reason.

Basically, the gov and shabaab have agreed no bombings in Mogadishu. Its been 5 month since suicide or truck loaded bombs in Mogadishu. ( there has been mortar attacks against halane and 1 IED attack since the start of 2020). Makes sense now

Also there are huge conflict within al shabaab. Not sure when but there will be a time a off-shoot of al shabab will be formed and they will disarm.
