I feel for Somalia and everyone else living in the USA
In the UK and Europe there is an outpouring of community spirit that's been remarkable and will most likely kill this crisis by September at the latest.

China, japan, Taiwan and south Korea along with Vietnam have already solved this issue.

The US is still in the early stages despite having the most cases in the world right now.
I doubt the dog eat dog, hypercapitalist society has the ability to manage this crisis along with the low level of medical infrastructure compared to other developed countries.

The US is gonna get fucked really bad.

One more thing since China has been dealing with this longest and has the best data about the virus.

Apparently along with anti malarial drugs and antibiotics,
It's been discovered HIV management drugs and preEP
Drugs like interferon and Truvada seems to be working well.

Fyi the preEP drugs are so effective against HIV and allot of viruses that allot dirty irresponsible khaniis men in the west are not using condoms anymore and have no deer of aids.
They use preEP before and after unprotected sex..

I guess these drugs will be far more valuable these days.

Where UK?

Before the corona crisis youth especially Somalia were dropping like flys practically one or two stabbings a month.
All with 2 mile radius of where I live.

But you won't see anything if you are not involved, it's mostly gang on gang violence and social media makes things worse.

Went back to london a couple months back, saw the lickle mandem all grown up involved in not so xalaal business ventures, crazy how time flies, I remember playing football with these yutes at the park and protecting them from bullies and guiding them to the straight path, now they are roadmen rolling in gangs of 20-30 completely drunk with power and oblivious to reality of the cycle they ended up joinin.

Yeh best not to get involved with them, Salam and PEACE OUT, I am thankful I am in a generation that did not experience too much of that, I had couple of knifes pulled on by peers, but most of the danger I faced was always from racist and older people in education and job market

We are so screwed. Great Depression levels of unemployment. All the aid of trillions from the CARES Act and Federal Reserve is propping up the stock market and rich people.

So any oldtimers around .
Thought id catch up and maybe rant a little..

This ancient barley functioning forum still ha its charm, ive been avoiding media,
i dont think its healthy for society.

Late to the thread but fiican brother. I have logged in today and don't remember whether it was two years ago or a year ago that I utilized the forum.

It looks like Fadhi Ku dirir website. Anyone who wants to stay abreast on Somali clan politics will find the website useful. Every region and its politics seem to be represented.

Social media is not what it is made out to be. But the forums are good tools to interact with fellow Somalis.
