It seems that most of you who are well involved in Somalia politics are predicting that farmaajo is bringing new guy from the hutu clan. The question is why do you guys think farmaajo won't let Mahdi to keep his post ?? at The end of the day all farmaajo wants is some extension period and few legacies to leave . Changing the hutu dooro duopoly and holding the First 1 man one vote elections might be good enough legacy to leave. The only problem we can think about is the 4.5 and I don't know how it's flexible when it comes to Dir holding The head of the Senate and the office of the prime minister at the same time. What do you think ?

Exactly Sahal the president and prime minister of Somalia should both come from Somalia itself not from elsewhere such as Somaliland or Ethiopia. Don't allow the Isaaqs and foreign Dir (e.g. Gadabursi) to come and steal in Mogadishu

If you read my post I am not debating with these qadaadweyn on behalf of somaliland , that's not on the table. My point is all about DIR getting it's fair share of the somalia project. yes Mahdi is Dir man sitting on Dir seat. DIR is NOT somaliland. We are every where . As you said this guy is from Ethiopia , same like afwayne, cabdiweli gaas , who were both born in qoraxay and doollo. Can you tell me what's preventing him to get that seat.

Isaaq is part and parcel of Dir , under the federal law of somalia. That same law give us the same rights as dooros and hutus . Blame their power sharing system which is not based on borders and nationality but CLANS . I have legal rights to get what ever I want from Mogadishu with my DIR clan identity without sacrificing somaliland.
