But the former president also said that the Ugaas made unacceptable remarks that are baseless since national unity among the SL nation is the highest priority for ex president Kahin

What agenda?
Khalid
He is an Ugaas because if he wasn’t Riyaale would have not said anything. Muse is not as diplomatic or patient as his predecessor

This is not a real big issue the ugaas was send back he wasn't arrested or anything. President rayaale is entitled to his opinion sure he is an ugaas and he gets the respect as the ugaas of a main clan in Somaliland. But there are bigger issues and these are domestic awdalite issues regarding the ugaas.

By the way the current Somaliland govt is busy to make sure suldaans caaqils ugaas garaado. Don't get involved in politics. The last 3 years we have seen no suldaans going on TV and talking tribal politics.

Re: Dahir Riyaale Defends his Ugaas
I have been told there is a schism between Gadabursi subclans that reside in Ethiopia and Northern Somalia. Also, it didn’t help he said few critical things about the current regional government in Hargaysa.
This brings shame to Gadabursi in front of other clans, that they are impotent when it comes to their own destiny. They should let the Jeegan-run pseudo government know in no uncertain terms to butt out of intra-clan affairs — they didn’t. This would never happen to our Ugas, never!

They decided their own destiny in 1991. To build a strong vibrant Somaliland equal for all its citizens. And its the best decision they made. Somaliland is the only country in the horn were gadabuursi is a heavyweight player in its politics. More then in Ethiopia and in Djibouti. Gadabuursi have more impact then ciise when it comes to Somaliland. Why would we stop an ciise ugaas visiting Somaliland. He has no influance really. Hadu joogo ama imaado it's the same. Somaliland might produce another gadabuursi leader in the future.

The noble house of Gadabursi are Somaliweynists. Their capital city of Boorama is a shining example of this. I will trust their word and ways over those pretending to be different from the rest of Somalis! Guul Samaroon!

Gadabursis of dalka Somaliland have no choice but to accept and support the independence/territorial integrity of their country the Republic of Somaliland. I'm sure most of them are patriotic Somalilanders thankfully.
PS Congratulations to reer Gadabursi for taking over Zeila and Lowyaado, great to be of assistance
