America cannot threaten to cutoff foreign aid that Trump already cut. America lost that leverage over Abiy .

From manpower to $$, Abiy has the advantage, fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you view things.
Tigrayan's have the advantage of knowing their terrain better than anyone, but it all depends on how the tigrayan masses react to the current situation. If most remain neutral and/or don't side with tplf by actively fighting abiy, then abiy will win for sure. this is why the army head is very clear about it ''being a war against rebels, and not against tigray,'' and is constantly saying ''tigrayans are ethiopians, there's no need for them to fight against their own people and their own army,'' because they know the consequences if the majority of tigrayans side with tplf by directly fighting abiy.
