Long distance relationship, yea or meh?

Hello fellows. I’ve been dating a girl from Europe for half a year. I’m very serious about her but neither of us can settle at the same place so we had a big fight about this. Have you ever been in a long distance relationship? And did it work out? I’m looking forward to real experts’ advice here. Thank you so much.
