Opposition will miscalculate once again

Post by SultanOrder »

What I noticed time and time again is that the opposition have no coherent strategy and consistently react to situations they had no part to play in. This will be the case. Right now the perception is the IC will come down hard and put Farmaajo in line. This will cause them to do nothing hoping like our good friend Sahal the IC will get rid of Farmaajo for them.

The reality is this, the IC has no stomach to replace Farmaajo or start over from square one. So the most likely course will be a negotiated settlement between Farmaajo and the IC.

There are only two options on the table. A term extension or September 17 agreement as Farmaajo wanted it. Both cases are a win for Farmaajo but the second one a symbolic victory for opposition.

I personally believed that this has been a leverage game from the beginning. A flex by Farmaajo.

They refused to sign Sept 17 agreement and now they refuse to accept the extension. I actually HOPE the opposition goes through with their so called parallel government as it will ultimately lead to war and a final victor. No one likes war but their must be decisive winner.

CC is out of the candidacy:
CC Shakuur oo ku dhowaaqay inay dhamaatay musharaxnimadiisa
Sidoo kale Cabdiraxmaan ayaa si cad u sheegay in ay dhamaatay rajadii laga lahaa in doorasho ka dhacdo dalka Soomaaliya, sidaas darteedna uu Muqdisho kasoo fuqsaday boorarkii musharaxnimadiisa, kadib markii uu ogaaday in aysan muuqan ififaalo muujinaya doorasho.

I guess his bills (security, staff, hotel, etc) have piled up, and since his sponsors do not foresee him changing the reality on the ground, it makes no sense to fund him. It doesn't take much calculation to deduce others would follow his suit.
