From Villa to afisyoone to Djibouti! how he played into the hands of Djibouti and Kenya!

Post by sahal80 »

Long story short, Joseph Kabila who took over the Democratic Republic of Congo at age 29 after the assassination of his father in 2001, announced he would not stand for re-election in 2018 and the country has seen a democratic transition of power and the opposition won it. when the Former Somali president met the current president in kinshasa he had three agendas 1: " to learn from this republic how direct general elections/ One man, one vote were organized"

the funny thing he is the equivalent of Joseph Kabila bal indhadeegaas fiiri waaba ku shuban lahaa :pac:

The second agenda was to mediate between him and close friend Kenyatta and finally to get the support the AU for his illegal extension program as chairperson of the organization . This president suggested to him that the AU connot support that but he should reconcile with his people and that the organization can play a mediating role between him and them. This means that this proposal came from Kenya! Kenyatta declined to meet him the day after he arrived in Kinshata another insult after the unidentified woman who received him at the airport. What is important is now that he fell into the trap of Kenya and Djibouti by giving them the legitimacy to intervene and you will see that the next conference will be in Djibouti!

If this does not happen, their alternative option is to return to their homes and boycott the federal government altogether and reject any conference inside Somalia and support the internationalization of the Somali issue and here we will see countries like Djibouti hosting a conference of the Somali parties including Laheloows and Gareens and mursal. This is what happened to Abdi Qasim when all the warlords in his government abandoned him and participated in the conference of Empegati after his last prime minister defected from him and was the first to join it (he was mj hassan abshir he had befor galayd who was dhulos and abdi yuusuf who was awrtable)

then a political agreement will be reached somewhere maybe in Djibouti and will be adopted by the the UN Security Council, IGAD, Arab countries and even AU because Ethiopia is in a deplorable state.

meel bahalo galeen ah ay isku galeen 99% xalanaa u dhaantey. look how clueless they r relaying only todays weak Ethiopia!
Member states of the AUPSC are 15 countries. The members from the Horn of Africa are Djibouti who used it's leverage of being the Cairperson and HiilWalaal, Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia. Only Ethiopia did not vote against it. His ally Eritrea is not member wich shows his political immaturity. How can you support Eritrea undermine Djibouti which brought all the French-speaking countries? Kenya has brought its southern Nilo-Saharan neighbors. Egypt with Sudan and Algeria.

The Peace and Security Council (PSC) is the organ of the African Union in charge of enforcing union decisions. It is patterned somewhat after the United Nations Security Council. The PSC is also the main pillar of the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA), and works with other pillars of the APSA in order to promote "peace, security and stability in Africa".[1] The specific goal of the Peace and Security Council (PSC) is the "prevention, management and resolution of conflicts".[1] To achieve these goals, it involves subsidiary organizations such as the Military Staff Committee and the Committee of Experts.
The PSC has 15 members with equal voting powers. All members are elected by the AU Executive Council and endorsed by the AU Assembly during its ordinary sessions. For continuity, five members are elected for three-year terms and 10 for two-year terms. While there are no permanent members, the PSC Protocol does not prevent any Member States from seeking immediate re-election.

PSC members are elected according to the principle of equitable regional representation and rotation as follows.

Central Africa: three seats
Eastern Africa: three seats
Northern Africa: two seats
Southern Africa: three seats
Western Africa: four seats
