It was nothing more than 🪒 and
for grand interview---didn't even think about a second more. Tonight, I realized AS A PERSON WHO LOVES HISTORY---there was more to the story.
It is not just that he is being fixed up all of a sudden---but they're caking him which means the President's inner circle are now so intimately embedded that the President has severally weakened the defenses of his own individual "personal Agency."
It basically means it is
that the process where the "occupant" is in danger of being "changed" by the "office" has already started.It is not even about "preventing" it now---but rather "intervening" and stopping further damage.
He is no longer "Farmaajo the idealist crusader Somalis came to love as PM" but rather "Guy #1" or "SK" (Sun King) or " Big Boss" as a reference code to his inner circle.
The problem with this is they are ALL in the office not because of " Guy #1" but because of real, humble, bespectacled " Farmaajo" with the not so kempt but appropriate appearance.
IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT DELAY:
1. There should be an immediate intervention where Farmaajo should be given some space. Perhaps even a quick mid-day type of retreating. He should walk barefoot on some grass normal human being so he can get in touch with his CORE. The man who is coiffed and spruced as well put together as he is---is not Farmaajo. The real Farmaajo should be allowed to surface again.
2. Secondly, he should follow up by getting out of Villa Somalia. No more carefully planned Television appearance for a bit. Go and walk with your people in their element; touch them, let them touch you, and go hear the concerns of mothers and orphans of the civil war who were retraumatized by just the rhetoric made possible by elite jocking among the 0.1 of the 0.1 at the top.
This is the man the country came to support and admire... Not caked, not spruced, and not staged or coreographed and most importantly NOT HIDDEN AND KEPT APART from his people.
He was real, he was raw, and above all the he was deeply sympathetic to the plight of his people.
We want to see him again.
