You’re right it’s far from a perfect system, but it works for the majority and given the mistrust among Somalis, it’s the only form of governance that can work. You only have to look at the way the SNA completely fractured into clans over the last week. MX are one of the only major sub clan that is disadvantaged by the current federal system, so it’s understandable why you would be against it. Who knows what the solution is, but it’s certainly not Farmaajo.
