Sahal, what do you see as a long term solution to this issue realistically speaking? If you haven't thought long term that's fine, this is a complex issue.

I ask because this is not a unique problem to Beled-Weyne, although the Imee-Khelaafo-Beled-Weyne length of the Shabelle right next to the down river from the highlands and the Hawash have taken the brunt of things so far.

But really all the way to Jowhar and Baardheere area of the Jubba are getting worse and worse.

At this point, I think there needs to be a realization thar a national conference on tbe effecfs of Climate Change, especially flooding, should be held and thst there needs to be a national and international supported plan.
