The collapse of alliances, the rise of new alliances and the splitting of others

Post by sahal80 »

The recent military and political events in Mogadishu has changed the face of Somali politics. There was a coalition of Damjadeed and Daljir under the umbrella of UPD led by Hassan Sheikh and then when Garowe hoted the HIPS INSTITUTE's Annual Forum they entered a new alliance with Aaranjaan wich is backed by the UAE. This Forum was used to shine the image of Hassan Sheikh among the Emiratis but now Daljir has changed its political tactics and the reason is that they see that the government arena can not accommodate them and Damjadeed such as the ministerial portfolios and secondary positions so they want to bargain on Abdi Rashid Hashi former HIPS director as prime minister instead of Deni so that they can control of the government and this endangers the relationship between Hassan Sheekh and Deni, therefore he must separate with them.

The alliance that has completely collapsed is Mooge, Gareens and the Job Seekers from SL as was evident from Yatakabaru Guleed who is now in despair. This man who glorifies the democracy in his region was supporting election rigging in koonfur to the point that he was proud of the election of Ali Godlaawe, Lafta Green and QoorQoor and said that Mooge would win in the first round like them. Since the recent military events in Mogadishu he and Dubbe dhawaaqey have been isolated from the political arena in favor of local politicians such as the Deputy Minister of Information al cadaala who is in charge of SNTV and Radio Muqdisho now so they appears neutral and also the Southern DIR led by Abdullahi Carab. Dubbe fled to Turkey or London before returning during the Elections agreement fearing for himself

Reer Gareen have broke free of Mooge and told him that you are for us one of the candidates especially Godlaaawe and QoorQoor and there is a convergence between Laftagreen and Shariif Sakiin. The only camp not fracturing till now is Sheikh Sharifs camp who is allied with the Ogaden and non MJ harti from sool and Sanaag bari. as long as Mjs and waqooyis do not support him I think it is cleverness from him to reach out to them. There is a new camp between Sakiin and Kheyre who is closer to Sh Sharif.

Sheikh Sharif needs to reach out to his ex xer Daljir and give them the govt like he did when they brought to him Mooge as a PM but they wont accept less than the PM they dint trust other pm

Fake news, simply SS ‘s using Ogaden PM will angry PL who has this agreement with abgaal. Plus who will elect or vote for SS & HSM & Deni ? This group of men have very dark history full of failures in running the country.
