I mean everything about that picture warms my heart man. I love it.

Sbashi, dude what those kids need are laptops and coding lessons. In fact that's what every school in Gedo and Somalia need.

Laptops and access to coding lessons.

Somalia will be Singapore in 1 Generation.

I think they do have computers but it's not enough. However, The good news is new computers will be given to them soon. The students specifically asked for them :D Btw they are currently working on expanding the school, so if you're interested you can chime in.

Gubbet we are more resource rich than you think  . Especially Gedo. I know this for a fact, fact, fact. Although i support coding, i think it's more important for some of these kids to learn about agriculture and livestock managament. There's lack of knowledge. Big lack of knowledge, the farmers in luuq just plant lemons. If they plant alfaalfa grass during the rainy season and store them, they can sell to the pastoralists during the dry season. That would cover all the needs the pastoralists have. Every year it's the same story, the livestock become large during gu and then they just die when the dry season hits or become weak. It's a problem. There's many more problems which can easily be solved with knowledge.

if you ever visit Luuq there's this Reer Kooshin who has the nickname of "crazy man". You should pay him a visit, he is an example of how agricultural knowledge can transform Luuq. The best part? He didn't major in agri-culture.

You are affiliated with the school? When were you last in Luuq?

I have never been to Luuq, but I have an emotional connection to Luuq that's probably stronger than any other city in the world. My abti (mom's younger brother)---- who was allegedly my spitting image to the point my grandma cried the first we remet when I was a teen because she allegedly didn't know if it was me or him---was part of the first Marehan unit sent to go retake Luuq. This was before his marriage had even commenced. He was buried there.

I know about the school. I don't think I should reveal more on a public forum. And I have never been to Luuq.

AUN. All the more reason you should come visit.
