Not yet until you see the 31th division making new base in that district. Somaliland regular army won't settle down in boocame because muse doesn't want more pressure from the international community. But the government already hired Local militias from the Hassan ugaas community. There is land dispute between Hassan ugaas and majeerteen backed by puntland militias. Somaliland army is just reinforcing the Hassan ugaas militias .

Boocame people willingly chose somaliland over puntland. So there is no point to fight. The people made their own choice. Puntland lost entire Sool and they should accept. At the same time we should not move further as this may cause panic in garowe. The restlessness of majeerteen may Push them to take a suicidal attack on our army the result will be mass exodus in garowe . And that will be the end of somaliland presence in eastern sool. If the war reaches the people, then we are not fighting puntland militias only. We are fighting against a whole population. I think we should avoid big wars. Stability is needed for the development of both sides until we reach the unification of the entire northern somali peninsula.

Let puntland manage eastern sanaag and they should voluntarily give up all Sool and buuhoodle. In this way we can build health relationship that can accelerate the process of unification.

Mahmoud Salebaan have been using puntland military ( which is basically a tribal militia in all but name), to invade Dhulbahante grazing lands......they even built tuulos and killed the lightly armed geeljires.

Dhulbahante militias got together and we're able to expel the usurper and destroy their illegally built tuulos.

Somaliland has now incorporated these militias into the army and established a base in Bocaame.

There won't be a wider war because nobody is interested in invading Garowe.......only safeguarding our ancestral lands.

I'm losing zero sleep about this. Bocaame is a tuulo. It is of no significance to PL. A couple of MJ Geeljireyaal have always lived in the district and the reason why Hassan Ugaas joined SL is because of fights with them.
