Cumar Samatar was extremely anti-Marehan. Aadan Loow considered him the biggest enemy to Marehan who was more Amxaar than the Amhara he shot at in Walwaal. In fact, Omr Samatar was the Somali head of the Abyssinian contingent at Warder.
