Please tell me deep in your heart that you don’t believe Mareexan are with Alshaydaan in Jubbaland and also you guys know Gedo is filled with alshaydaan. Other than that Mareexan are cool people and wadani but their love for Hutus and alshaydaan is making us southerners confused and disgusted. They know they have no way back to controlling Kismayo without hagite/AS support and hagites have ditched them.

The way I see it they need Ethiopia but Ethiopia has refused to intervene outside the border regions.
That leaves only AS as a potential ally.

An alliance with AS must have been in the works for sometime. I believe the military defeats AS suffered in Hirshabelle has accelerated the AS/ MX military alliance.
