Apart from a few extreme tribalists (which is found in every clan and subclan sadly), most Isaaqs like Dhulbahante and Warsangeli and want both to thrive within a unified independent Somaliland

I support Dhulos and Warsans exercising full autonomy in the same fashion as a Puntland (Bari and Nugaal) or an Iraqi Kurdistan but Somaliland's colonial borders must be recognised by Somalia and the I.C. - either all of Somaliland secedes or all of Somaliland reunites with Somalia

Fair shout. I think Somaliland should fully be separate from Somalia since on the ground there is no 'Somalia' that even exists for Somaliland to reunite with. A two-state federation along 1960 boundaries is a credible option but only if the South has only one single authority ruling from Ras Aseyr to Ras Kamboni which I can't envisage anytime soon

In the meantime let Harti parts of SSC self govern

In a North- South federation SL aka the North will be to all intents independent from Mogadishu.

The benefits are to numerous to mention.
Furthermore the North will be recognised as distinct from the rest of Somalia. This is a forerunner to full separation further down the line.

In the meantime slNorth can build up its economy and international relations.

I've never understood why the iidoors haven't pursued this strategy, even while claiming independence.
