From Cruttenden almost 200 years ago to now, every single thing I have read on Dhulbahante never fails to mention they are a "Martial" clan. 100% of every single sociological or anthropological historical reference to them that I have seen has contained "Martial" or some variation of it or has alluded to it.

I have never seen that 100% rate in referencing of my own Marehan whom are disproportionately and even distinctly identified historically as "Martial" in comparison to other Somali groups.

I have not seen it in referencing to other Darods.

I have not seen it in Isaaq; even in referencing to Havar Yonis who are the most historically referenced as martial in what I have read about Isaaq.

And I have not seen it in referencing about Hawiye or other Somalis.

But 100% of the historical referencing of Dhulbahante that I have read has contained some variation or metaphor of "Martial" if it did not contain the word itself.

Somali Sacad Muuse ayaad ka tahay, Dhulbahante Queen Victoria ayaa isku kiin keentay & Dhullo fought her for 30 years until airplanes were used. Even then you were only implicated with Dhullo under British Somaliland without resistance for only 15 years before they joined the rest of Somalia signing as USP separate and distinct to you signing as SNL. Dhullo has been Darod for 800 years and running, Somali Republic for 40 years, British Somaliland for 15 years, Puntland for 8 years, and 20 years concurrently as part Somaliland (Las Anod)/part independent (Buuhoodle)/and completely independent (USP post 1991).

It is their house and only their house. You haven't even be the longest guest and in fact considerably less than Somalia has been.
