Dire situation. No electricity, almost no food.
Public announcements via cars with speakers roaming Laascanood all night urging shops and traders to open up to supply the starving militia with food items and -- more importantly -- water:
Death toll is beyond anything they were anticipating. +100 qurjiile expired today alone:

What must be absolutely disheartening is that Somaliland forces are still in the exact same positions at Goojacadde, and all around Laascanood town, where they have been stationed ever since voluntarily withdrawing from the town. Wars cant be won on social media, and hard as doofaars attempt to bootyclap for the qurjiile online, it changes very little on the ground. The situation is bleak.
Soon enough starving thirsty qurjiile will begin to ask their garaads very difficult questions about how life with no electricity, no food, no medicine, as refugees dispersed among the enterprising dhabayaco leaches, is better than enjoying peace and basic amenities under idoor hegemony. Doofaar ismaacils' collective refusal to come to the aid of their brethren and fight will also be a massive talking point in qurjiile circles as the conflict goes on. Other darods are all happy being minorities to more powerful entities, be it other Somali clans, Amhara, Bantu.. or even being minorities to other doofaar ismaacils in some cases, so why were they egging the qurjiile to rebel against their Isaaq masters?
A year or two (or five) of this is absolutely fine by us, qurjiile beggars contribute very little to Somaliland economically, socially and politically, if anything, they are a massive drain on resources. The big question is how long can the bankrupt qurjiile endure these conditions whilst high on daroodism dhuuso?
I hope you stocked up on pillar candles and petrol
