The newly established Lascaanood police force has conducted a major operation to eliminate the trafficking of alcohol and drugs in the city.

Since SL took over Lascaanood, almost 15 years ago, there has been an influx of alcohol, drugs and other vices into the city.

The new police force has been tasked to returning Lascaanood to its original character and culture.
Lascaanood use to be renowned for its non secular Islamic heritage.
