Biggest problem we're dealing with in Somalia is identity politics. People aren't talking about "mabda" but jinsi. Somalinimo, Islamnimo, Daaroodnimo etc. What we need are institutions, the most important of which being Xer.

Look at what we have today. Sheikh hebel, nabadoon hebel, Ugaas hebel, professor hebel, doctor hebel, madaxweyne hebel. People blowing themselves up in search of some meaning or people basing their identity on skin-whitening creams and haplogroups.
