Leelkase is a spread out clan due to their religious history you can see the same thing with sheikhal and surre dir all three clans have strong history of teaching the deen that’s why they can be found in many different places leelkase mainly live all over puntland region with the largest population in mudug second being nugaal as you said also some migrated towards rahanweyn I’m trying to do some research on the clan structure and the different deegaans in different areas in Somalia if anybody is knowledgeable on this topic feel free to sharecabdikafick wrote: Sun Nov 14, 2021 9:29 pm asc wrx wbrkt dear brother I am glad to meet you in this beautiful discussion about leelkase frist I would like to introduce myself I am Reer sheikh mumin the sheikh is buried in Buurhakaba He Had three children Aadan Nuur and Xamud these names are magnificent names of Xeer and there is no doubt that this sheikh is muumin Aadan we are found Hamarweyne, Buurhakaba, Baidoa and Luuq we were Sultanas of Hamarweyne lower Juba Baay and hinterlands more details about this sheekh called muumin were talked in leelkase gathering at Galkacyo ( tarikhda tanaade darood) my request is we are responsible this small clan to ensure that they're linked to xeer and that this sheikh is the father of all xeer and their subclans

You are right the three clans you mentioned have long manipulated the deen propagation industry, but in recent times, heavy investment on the part of other skinny clans, have allowed them to gain considerable ground in attempt to get 'piece of the pie', as it were, in this very lucrative trade.
