We all know you are the Marexaan marketing/promoter on this forum. Nothing you say regarding any conflict with Marexaan involved can be regarded as neutral. You have matured from MadDog, now you say what you want to say without actually saying it. May allah give you your senses back.

One last thing, if all the videos posted on ticktock is of your Marexaan doing unthinkable crimes against the DIR. One must ask the question, why is this even a conflict that needs to be recorded and posted on ticktock?
Wallahi xumaanta iyo dulmiga sal u ah the munaafaqnimo in this post still surprises me 🤔

Update: Elders have successfully intervened

Civil society, particularly elders and religious leaders from both Dir and Mareexaan, have successfully intervened. The fight has stopped. Armed militiamen from both sides have pulled back to their main town bases.

Surprisingly a development has taken place that shows the level of concern of the neighbors at large—namely the mayor of Dhusamareb has offered to be host and the city of Dhusamareb as venue for bringing the two sides together.

Pictures of the initial sit down under the tree are online in Facebook and other places.

Alxamdulilah that all conflict is stopped in all parts of Somalia.

Somalis are tired of conflict.

Mad-Dog- you certainly have a knack for twisting the facts to suit your own narrative. Altercations between a few shacab is nothing to be proud of. Nevertheless, here’s the cold truth for you since you’re quite foreign to it! This happened three weeks ago.

Darood 13 dead and 35 injured — rushed to Abudwaaq medical center.
Surre 3 dead and 7 injured — rushed to Xeraale General Hospital

Ok.

This is why peace is so hard to make in Somalia. The man saw fit to find it appropriate to 1.) find motivation in casualty comparison and 2.) act out on that impulse and 3.) attack me as a 'facilitation" for imposing that impulse on a peace minded topic.

And he did it because me describing what had troubled me, namely the very infamous Trending videos which had hundreds of thousands of views in Somali Facebook circles, of my side acting in ways that I found regressive is to the gentleman above a "loss of honor" because of "pride issues" being an active participant to the hostilities on the opposing side.

So simultaneously, my side would group shame someone dissenting if they criticized within and the other side would impugn because of pride or honor issues relating to expression of "power."

And they wonder why there are few peacemakers among Somalis and why peace is generally very difficult to establish among Somali communities.

Soomaali ilaahay baa u maqan. :ugeek:
