You do realize that there is no such thing as an "Islamic Government" don't you? The Prophet never outlined how such a government should be structured. And you do realize, according to all major scholars, that Shari'a is not a fixed thing. That much of what was Shari'a in the 7th century no longer applies because human circumstances have changed. You understand all this right? One of the great issues concerning those who wish to see Islam play the critical role in the formation of government is they don't understand how this role should be implemented. Remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

There's actually such thing as an "Islamic Government." Well, at least to the findings of Google. In fact, there's more such thing as an "Islamic Government" than a "Secular Government":

AbdiWahab252, the desert is a safe environment for police training. It doesn't make sense to train the police force in a risky environment, well, at least one without a functioning government.

I tend to slightly agree with our kafir resident with this one....Any functioning Gov. that secures peace and stability is better than none, cos we cant even worship freely if there is a life and death matter/situation on the table...and thats what and how its for many of us in Somalia...regardless of our qabil of origin...esp. Xamar the capital and the most imp. city of the country.

"Ignoring them all together, I think the business men in Xamar who have a lot to loose with this continous insecurity should invest in a Police academy, or some sort of an organized force who gets wages rather than the warlords"
The problem is that only a hand full of them are legit and the rest are better of with the chaos, cos they know/we all know that they occupy other ppl's land/beero/guryo and the rest of it...so what good does a functioning Gov. do for them?? I say nothing..therefore they are for the chaos at any cost

I cannot speak for the rest of my southern compatriots, but you know I am a supporter of a separate S/land as I've indicated before and many times(its their loss and I truelly believe that)...but my experience has tought me two things:
1)Nin is hubaa isma faansho
2)Dadka kalena ma caayo oo hoos uma dhigo si uu ujeedadiisa/arrintiisa u hore mariyo.
Case closed.

Cawar,
Kuwaa aad ka hadleeysid are not business men
, I ment the real business men who are the majority of the money making machine in Xamar, and as I said earlier their only cilad is each one of them supports their clan warlord for protection. Perhaps it's more convenient for them at this time, but in the long run, It's very risky business!
Qudhac,
Makaan miin bas? waa loo samaxt uulii how do you know?
