i was thinking of doing journalism as a major, but then changed to international studies, because i can still write with it, and minor in english.

but i was thinking of doing a documentary on Somalis living out side of Somalia, and how they changed, to see if the streotype of somalis essimilating too fast is true, and then i would take it back to somalia to show it somalis in somalia, so they can get to know the real truth to how it is to live out side, and tell them money it not planted in the ground.

In my view, Basra is a brilliant writer.........You really should consider writing your own Novel. Smile

One of the greatest problems writers face is isolation....I'm not quite ambitious enough to cut 20 blocks for a print!

My young 17 year old sister is a writer by far the best somali writer I have come across. I remember at high school she has been caused of plagiarising so many times I have lost count till teachers finally realised she is indeed an excellent writer. She hopes to have books out by the age of 20 and she currently writes for a youth paper.
