What if you were told one good morning, as you are going around your usula routine, making your coffee, what if your parents approach you, take you to the living room, sit you down and calmly inform you that you were adopted. What if they tell you that you are from the qabiil you hate most and despise most?

what will your reaction be? will you die on the spot? swallow your pride and humbly seek your relatives and apologize, even though you were known to be a big hater of that qabiil?

What if? That shit won't happen in the Somali community. Unless the mother or father dies, then the aunt and uncle bring the child to the house..

Yup usually your adeer's or father's family would take you in. If you have a crappy paternal family then your abti's and habrayars will take you in. The likelihood of them keeping shit like that away from you is 1 in a Million.

if that was to even happend, i think you would just die from the shock alone. btw somalis parents dont really race thier children to have an enemy clan, we just hear it from the community. its not like your dad is gonna have a sit with you say, son, that clan is my enemy, and it shall be your, hate it forever. also why would any one adopt a kid from the enemy clan? odd dont u think
