i noticed we have all been influenced by de environment we live and dat our thought process is very similar 2 dat of de natives of our host countries. however some of us are more western dan others and i would like 2 understand why dat is. does it have 2 do with da parents or is a choice da individual makes. i would like point out certain members who exhibit western attitude. were u people raised outside africa?

ithink - I didn't know my little two liners would give me a place in this topic! I consider myself as a free thinker. I know free thinkers are seen as satan in some cultures.

Sometimes I have issues with some members who base everything on emotions and wishful thinking. Another problem is I always defend USA, Kenya and Ethiopia just because these countries opened their doors 4 us while we were at each other's throat and so called Muslim nations like Saudi arabia were deporting our refugees back to Mogadishu where the worst kind of civil war was going on. The other thing that made me end up on the list might be where I stand on gender equality. I believe women are as capable as men given the same opportunity.

They are probably non-muslim. But I have no problem with them since most of them are respectable except for that tin can dhuusodheere.

There is no one in this net that act Somali, we all act western, even if you dont live in the west, because the whole world is western, other than central, east and south africa, and a little bit of Asia is ok.
