Bin Ladin vs. SALADIN
Some ppl went too far comparing the greatest warrior da muslim could have Saladin, to Osama Bin Ladin. For those of u who are not familiar with Saladin, he was a great king and a fearless warrior who led the muslims recapture the holy city, Jerusalem. He fought the famous battle at the Acre against then king of England, Richard "The Lionheart". (Lion heart , did u even know da king had that nick name, and now dat u know are u gonna change it and come up with something new and original..lol)
So do u think such a man who has a great reputation in the muslim world and the gaalo world could be compared to Osama Bin Ladin.....iam just asking wat yor thoughts are about this comparison, and dont take away anything from Bin Ladin.

young nope
saladin, the two mean have sililaries although that doesn't mean they are the same. They are both claiming to defend Islam.
The only difference I saw was the word infedel was used against Muslims by the crusaders and the church @ saladin's time and now it is the other way around. Also, saladin spared all non-combatant christians while the church said killing a Muslim was your ticket to heaven. Now, bladen group say killing a non-muslim is your ticket to heaven.

If you asked this question 3 or 4 years ago or so and before the americans invaded afghanistan, you would have probably goten a different answer from what you are reading here today. osama was the most important muslim figure on the planet to many ignorant muslims then. taliban got defeated, osama found hapiness living in the mountains of tora bora, iraq followed suit. osama is went down from hero to zero.
maybe if they didn't cheer him when the twin towers WENT down, osama wouldn't have gained all this fame. maybe you wouldn't have ever thought of comparing him to salaxudeen ayuubi, and this just maybe....

osama and ariel sharon did about the same for muslims
the biggest and most important difference between Osama and SALAHADIN is that the first one is an Arab and the latter is a Kurd
that alone says a whole lot
now am not gonn say anything else about the "mighty arabs" so that i don't offend the few wahabists in here
