Narrated Abi Waih: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman said, 'The hypocrites of today are worse than those of the lifetime of the Prophet, because in those days they used to do evil deeds secretly but today they do such deeds openly.'"

Narrated Abi Asha'sha: Hudhaifa binu yaman also said : 'In fact, it was hypocrisy that existed in the lifetime of the Prophet but today it is Kufr after belief."

I made a promise and I am sticking to it but surel;y that term is mis-translated?

Hypocrisy is not nifaaq it has a totally different meaning.

For exampleif you harangue people about the evils of Zina and then hump your children's Swedish au pair you are a hypocrite. that is not Nifaaq in arabic is it? Of course. Nifaq which is the root for munafiqeen means something completely different.

So when you say "snet hypocrites" what exactly are you accusing your victims of? Please clarify. Thank you.
