He'z had a Long season,, plus.. he got a niggling Groin Injury that needs rest..

Roberto Carlos is wasted, Kaladze from AC Milan is solid or Zambrotta could play left back in that 4 man defence you named.

Gallas is a class act, too bad he is leaving for the Old Lady.

And he is very versitile cuz he can play anywhere on the back line.

Not many defenders can do that.

John Terry is a top player, but he is one of those no-nonsense defenders, and he aint as versitile as Gallas.
