even the Prophet Muhammad himself wasn't 100% accurate, he had his faults and so do we.

wahabisim is invented by the west... Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahab was islamic scholor who did lot for islam during his time... and should be respected as scholor.

Citizen...u are absolutely right..But then again, among muslims wahabism has become synanomous with al-qaeda and people who like to blow themselves up..

Of course, u won't find such thing as Wahabism if u go to the Muslim world but a lot of people on this site are pretty brainwashed by western media .

Wahabism as a term is overused by the west to categorize muslims they dont like..

I have no problem with anyone as long as they dont practice takfiiir.

lion and gurey i agree west has slow narrow view of islam and many muslims growing in the west also are quick to jump on board like saying wahabis = al-qaeda..

you see muslims saying that they are moderate modern muslim... they are quick to please the west and the next minute bush and blair are on TV saying moderates are good and extremist = wahabis..

dont get me wrong i dont support al-qaeda or believe in the act of sucide bombings..

but at the same time i hate the so called moderates that are reinterpreting Islam to suit their new life in the west..
