is it true?... I wonder whether its true Khat eating causes major heart problems?... it does of course cause something serious ilness whether its to your bladder and other internal organs but iwhether it causes heart attack is another storry... some scientists are aurguing that khat eating is extremely dangerous.. what do you think.. can khat chewing cause those problems!!

I highly doubt whether it's true, It's probably another antic to make consumers stop purchasing the plant. Nothing to it, I've seen many ppl who chew the damn thing day in and day out and not one side affect of a heart disease, But any case I don't want to mislead anyone. It could possibly be true.

It doesn't matter if it's true or not. 100% of all khat chewers could get cancer from it, and they'd still chew.

Khat (qat) also causes cancer in the mouth. Khat contains a strong chemical substance that easily interacts with the lips, tonsils, uvula, palates, pharynx, tongue and other parts of the mouth. Khat is essentially a drug that can alter your mind & make you an addict. Therefore, any Muslim should know it's haram.

This is just a propoganda to scare qat users. My grandfather use to chew, my father jewed, i jew, and none of us have had any cancer, or heart disease problems, yes and this is coming from a family of long time qad chewers.
