a lot of somali wiiters that write in English mostly tend to be westernized and view somalia in a negative way. even those that are not articulate like waris diriye.

Nurradin writes from the perspective of a somali gaal. I would not encourage anyone to read his books just because he is somali. I have to admit though, I would rather read one of his books than the trash Waris and some other dhilos have put out any day.

I will look for it and see if it is as bad as you make it out to be. Laughing Was she one of them somali hookers from rome? I usually don't bother with any book written by a somali women since they are all about the same shit; I was forced to marry an old man ten times my age and I run away. Or I my coochie was mutilated and now I can experience orgasm. Get the fukk out of here with that crap dhilos, you were sponsered by relatives overseas.

ps. What is the name of the book?

Lol@ Xplosive. I got it from the library too some years ago and lets just say it should have been classified as a work of fiction not a biography! The obvious lies were unbearable. Along with the other one The Desert Rose or something by Waris Dirie...(chased by a lion kulahaa) I can't get over that!

As to Nuradin Farah, His materials didn't impress me much, the style of writing wasn't that captivating either. Naah I don't think he is such a great writer.

"Don't hate on him guys."

I am criticizing his inability to write at least one work in Somali; that's not hating.
