I have a dark skinned egyptian friend from Aswan and she told me that when her family moved to the city she was openly called an ape in school and some kids threw stones at her. Even the teachers treated her differently. Now this girl is a native egyptian who happens to have a darker skin tone. You can call arabs whatever you like but civilised is not what many people would use to describe them

I understand this racism exist every where but some is rediciouls like yours. You judged them because they have a little biger nose? Come on girl. If I brought to my family an African American girl or Somali , they would say same about both. You both are same race that is my whole point.

Arabs discriminate black and even we discriminate agaist poor Arabs like Egyptian or Syrian..etc. But why black should discriminate against their own race?

Somalis are very different from Adoons. First of all --physically we are very Brilliant. We have all the ingredients that a Beauty entity needs. We are tall (Very important)--- we have a variety of skin color--brown being the prevalent one.A complexion so accutely pleasant that -- it shines with the touch of Sunlight.We have yellow to red skin that brings diversity in the mix. The adoons dont have this rarified brown sulking complexion at all. Yes some of them have--but here is where we really differ. Our Sharp facial; features. We have long-defined nose--dramatic large bubbly eyes, very fine silky flowing hair,worth entering Loriel Shampoo advertisements.We have long distinguished faces, none of the wideness of Adoons faces.(Come to think of it--everhthing about them is wide) Granted, the ubiquitous long foreheads is not something to brag about--but for the sake of authentic reporting -i have to mention the historical importance of it.Those shiny long forehead is a brotherhood symbol for all Somalis to recognise each other from far distance, amongst crowds.Its a badge of honor if you will.

But why it's ok to call people names and not allowed for other? Is that because Somalis are chosen race?

Well, racism is wrong, doesn't matter who is doing it. I would understand if you say 'it's culture and not the colour of the skin or race'. The cultural differences maybe. I was brought up an Arab and my family may do things differently then an asian,african american,or indian family. But that doesn't mean anything other than I may do things differently. But you are racist person. God helps you.

I have to protest. I am not a racist. That word has a negative, unfair connotation! I would like to think myself as A Preferalist.
