agreed. i only stated that to illustrate the fact that China will not allow NK to be invaded. and seeing as how the US does not like to mess with countries that can nuke american cities the bush administration or any other administration after it will not invade NK.

china will be as neutral as the US is. and since its an open secret that america would supply SK then China would do the same for NK. it'll be a proxy war for the us and the peoples republic of china.

not likely to happen, china sees NK as a troublesome burden, and has good relation with SK.

Anything that removes an excuse for US troops to be in the area is good for china, NO NK no US bases in Korea or Japan= more isolation for Taiwan.

and them chinese are sneaky bastards that play a long game,
iwouldnt be surprised if they were planning a 2040 showdown over
Taiwan.

china knows that the us bases in japan and SK will never be abandoned so if they allow NK to be occupied by SK supported by the america then that would make life much more difficult for the chinse because then China would have no leverage with the US regarding the Taiwan issue.

also with the NK distraction out of the way the US might re-start the Tibet issue.

the possible showdown around 2040-2050 is quite possible as china has been focused on modernising their navy and airforce for the last 15-20 years.
