No, not really. It was more like he was Somali. Smile

He and Nuuradin Farah are two great award winning Somalis in their fields. I think we should not see these guys through that tainted clanish prism, but instead value them and respect them as great Somalis.

I met personally Raggeh Omar a couple of years ago and he's pretty good as a journalist. Brilliant.

Rageh is a Somalilander. The son of Oomar, a wealthy Somalilnd merchant from Hargeisa. Highly educated brother. Isaaq royalty married into English royalty, doesn't get any better than that
