Are You Ready To Take Advantage Of Ramadan?

Post by Caana-Nuug »

The Propthe (saw) encouraged for the Muslims to read the Qur'an more, increase giving charity, spending in the way of Allah, & all of their good actions.

The fasting Muslim must avoid:

Speaking in matters that do not concern one.

Excessive speech.

Speaking about sinful matters.

Disputation and contestation.

Argumentation.

Excessively embellished speech.

Lewd, insulting, or crude speech.

Invoking the Curse of God on someone.

Singing indecent songs, or relating immoral poetry.

Excessive joking.

Sarcasm and ridicule.

Revealing secrets.

False promises.

Lying and false oaths.

Backbiting and slander.

Instigating tense relations between people.

Being two-faced.

Praising someone who is either undeserving, or unable to remain humble when praised.

Speaking about involved subjects and ideas one lacks the necessary knowledge or eloquence to adequately convey.

Ordinary folk speaking in subjects that are the domain of specialists.

Ramadan Kareem all.

I'm ready for mouth-only. Eyes-only has out-lived it's usefulness.

During Ramadan the believers get busy seeking AllahÂ’s mercy, forgiveness, and protection from Hellfire. This is the month for renewing our commitment and re-establishing our relationship with our Creator.

It is the spring season for goodness and virtues when righteousness blossoms throughout the Muslim communities. "If we combine all the blessings of the other eleven months, they would not add up to the blessings of Ramadan," said the great scholar and reformer Shaikh Ahmed Farooqi (Mujaddad Alif Thani).

Ramadan offers every Muslim an opportunity to strengthen his Iman, purify his/her heart and soul, and to remove the evil effects of the sins committed by him/her

not only is it a month to purify our faith, but it is the only month which your deeds will be writen by God, and not the angles, and will Allah mercy.

It also the month where Satan can not be an excuse for our falls, and where most of our Du'as will be accepted.

Lets pray that we be become part of the thousand who are chosen this year to be removed from the hell fire, Insha Allah, Amiin.

Caana-nuug a non--fasting person should also avoid all the things you have stated . I guess more so when one is observing fasting. It's wise to make a habit rather than a ritual only during ramadan
