Somalia: Second killer executed in Mogadishu by Islamists

Mogadishu 13, Oct.06 ( Sh.M.Network) Islamic Courts controlling most of Somalia have executed in publicly on Friday a murderer, Mahad Osman Ugas after he was found guilty that he had killed Mohamed Siad Ukurow, who was among the business people in Mogadishu.

The execution attended by hundreds of people took place at the square of former police training compound in south of Mogadishu.
Around 9:00 am this morning, the killer was tied on the pillar of shooting where he was shot dead by soldiers of Islamic Courts who set for the execution.

Haji Omar Shafi, among the onlookers told Shabelle Radio he was very happy that execution to be implemented through the Islamic law in which he said would be safe way among the society.

TodayÂ’s execution carried out by Islamic Courts was the second to be done while former killer Abdukadir Dirie Malay was the first slain in public last month after he was found guilty that he had killed the a business man who was among the administrators of Al-Towba company.
