FORMULA 1- THE LAST FIGHT

Post by Kamal35 »

Well, next sunday the Formula 1 World Championship is coming to its end. The last race will take place in the circuit of Interlagos (Sao Paulo, Brasil). After the great recovery of Ferrari, which lost 25 points in the beggining of the season, Michael Schumacher could reach the same points than Fernando Alonso and he was clearly the winner in the last race, in Suzuka, Japan, when suddenly his engine broke down and he had to abandon the race. Fernando Alonso won again.

Now Alonso is scoring 126 points, while Schumacher has 116. Only the victory (ten points) will count for Schumacher. Not being second (eight points) or third (six points) on the race. He has to win and Alonso has to break down his engine or being behind the eighth place for Schumacher to be the 2006 World Champion. Otherwise, Fernando Alonso will be the champion. They're going to fight to death in the last race of the season so, guys, don't miss it.

Go, Fernando, go!

This can be, too, the last opportunity for the other Spaniard, Pedro de la Rosa, to show how brave and good driver he is, so he's gonna fight really hard to.

My predictions:

1) Pedro de la Rosa (McLaren Mercedes)
2) Kimi Raikkonen (McLaren Mercedes)
3) Fernando Alonso (Renault)
4) Michael Schumacher (Ferrari)
5) Felipe Massa (Ferrari)
6) Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault)
7) Jenson Button (Honda)
Cool Robert Kubika (BMW Sauber)

Fastest Lap: Fernando Alonso 1.11.050
Pole Position: Michael Schumacher

Just wait and see. Schumi has a good -probably the best- car, but he's under a great pressure. And bear in mind that McLaren need to win one race in this championship. They prepared a new engine for Pedro de la Rosa which reaches 20.000 rpm.

Saturday at 19.00 and sunday at 19.00 (Spanish hour). The race.

Last race in F1 for Michael Schumacher...

No way:

1.- Massa
2.- Pedro de la Rosa (only one pit stop)
3.- Fernando Alonso
4.- Jenson Button
5.- Raikkonen

....

10.- Michael Schumacher
