WHAT IS WRONG WITH BURAO?

This town is by far the third biggest in former Somalia yet all the media gives that title to Kismayo which is half its size if not less. It is acknowledged as the second biggest in Somaliland but puny Berbera and useless Borame overshadow it in importance. It is supposed to be diehard Somaliland town but it stubbornly uses the old Somali shilling alongside the wonderful Somaliland one. It has the greatest concenteration of the maddest Wadaads in Somaliland yet it considers itself the heart of the SNM secular struggle.

When the government arrests one of its nasty but beloved Sheikhs the men hide in their Khat houses but its women come and fight the police.

And it has the girls with the worst dental issues in the country but its residents boast it has the prettiest of all chicks. So what is wrong with Burao?
