Lay off the Quule and pop a Paxil, AC-130 gunships were used to hit depots in Xamar in 1993. There were no airstrikes from the carriers off the coast. The American Ambassador Oakley implied such a move if the POW Durant was not released.

Says the clueless Sijui who can't even point to Xamar on the map.

Abdiwahab this is the world wide web, bring ONE, ONE source that says the U.S used anything but helicopters in SOmalia

Voltage,

Read this an weep, you lil punk:

The AC-130 is a slow-moving aircraft bristling with cannon and other guns that can put thousands of rounds of deadly fire on a target in night or day operations. United States commanders in Somalia said the AC-130's had a profound psychological effect on potential foes and, on earlier missions in Somalia, were one of the few American weapons the Somali militias feared.

General Powell told Senate investigators he did not recall playing a role in deciding whether to redeploy the AC-130's, although he did say the aircraft "wrecked a few buildings and it wasn't the greatest imagery on CNN" when used in Somalia.

Actually I was just talking to an uncle who told me there was an instance the U.S used Ac 30 and they used it agianst Caydiid...is this what you were talking about all day Abdiwahab?

This is what you were lambasting Djibouti for? Because the U.S targeted a known criminal warlord who was at that time starving Raxanweyn people??

This means Djibouti must be supported even more know for all they did to help Somalia!

Walaahay I would be very happy if the Eritreans capture Jabuuti....Anytime very exponsive weapons are coming to Ethiopia; do you know that the only place they trust is Jabuuti. The Ethiopian other two main ports Berbera and Boosaaso are not as safe for them as Jabuuti. The ONLF fighters harass thier shipments from Berbera and Boosaaso; the two other Ethiopian ports. The shipments from Jabuuti to Ethiopia is far from the ONLF freedom fighters.....

THat is why ONLF will never succeed and has not succeeded in doing anything right now

From your own mouths

-anti Jabuuti
-we were "talking" with Ethiopia and everything would have finished with talks before Siad Barre invaded us
-burn Isaaq cars and trucks
-Refuse to name your jabhad a somali name but tribal

etc etc etc No one is ever going to support you the way you are.

no one has supported Og more than Mareexaan and when i speak to all the Mareexaan, they hve nothing but regret and anger for ever supporting them.
:o and you base this godly judgment on what guhad has to say (a random guy from a forum), that's where you've deducted your godly judgment from? :?

i say, you must have ventured into the realm of beyond pure understanding. more like it IMO.

bro, succeeding is beyond our will, its the will of allah - wholly!

all you can do, as a human being, is to stand up and fight for your dignity. that's the benchmark of success for mankind - to demand more of him, as mankind, is beyond reasonable. and surly by that stander, the ogaden are a great success story.

Either way it was a good move for them as they are not part of zoomalia today. Also it isn't smart to blame Djbouti a sovereign nation for allowing people to use their land to attack Somalia as Eithiopia uses Somalis in Somalia against each other and their presense is everywhere.
You are right we were pro unification but Ethiopia didnt want that and Somalia and Ethiopia were going to go over a war and that would have taken place in our country and so in order to spare ourselves a war we went a different way and I SURE AM GLAD WE DID THAT. :djibouti:
