Mike - From an Islamic point of view: why would God create a gene for man to be pre disposed to a sin that he detests so much? why would Allah swt make certain people born into sin, that doesnt make sense to me, can you explain from this point of view please.

In dhuksi i had asked a Macliim that question. Why were handicaps created by ALlaah? The Macliims wise response was --for humanity to see, think with their God given brains and pray and be grateful for their wholeness. So that we maybe compassionate towards them, and appreciate our own health and wholeness. I think with homosexuals it is the same. We are to learn from them and our compassioness is being tested here. Will we be uncompassionate towards them? Would we learn to restrain our own sins? I do agree with u homoseuality is a sin, but i dont agree with u that they chose to be homosexuals. Pure and simple.
IF you follow Quran---u will not go wrong. So my advice to homosexuals is-- Accept your homosexuality, know that it is NOT your choice, or your fault and strive to abstain from physical homosexual acts. Remember it is your fault to engage in 'homosexual act' not being a homosexual, there is a difference.

My understanding is michael_ital could be one or at least had experience in what such people do. I don't think he has the guts to admit it.
