Although i would prefer somaliland to stay in somalia, i don't really blame them because somalia is now in such a mess.

Israel has no say on the recognition or non-recognition of Somalia. If there was a country which would want to recognize Somaliland before anyone else if she could it would be Ethiopia.

The issue of Somaliland is not a separate and unique situation but has major consequence for the rest of Africa. Unless Beijing rises up to become the next imperial power that can dictate foreign policy norms around the world, the issue of Somalia's dismemberment is basically America's issue.
