So
He means only 15% go to the city maamul. But do you think that the other 85% goes to any other regions? The money the dowlad makes either goes to their pockets, to the armies, the xildhbans, but I don't hear dowlad giving money to aswj, to pro dowlad forces in other regions, or they are funding projects in other regions. So I would argue that the greater majority of the money goes to xamar directly or indirectly.
Abayoo look, Abgaal nor any other qabil did not build the port, nor the airport, nor the roads, nor make it the biggest markets and economic center in the south. Xamar is not Abgaal city, it is soomaali, and estabilishing a qabil based maamul there only alienates everyone else not protects the rights of abgaals. If it is one man one vote, then any group living there will have a say in the elections. Halkaas hala ku daayo.
Its like saying you cant run for election in the UK if you are not a British citizen but being an EU citizen gives all the same rights as the British person except when running for election, all EU members are treated fair and get to do business like anyone so it can happen lakiin the question is why dont others want this.

Look his whole argument is purely qabilistic, and not based on historical ties. For example, in his view any abgaal that comes from any other region has more right to run for office than a third generation of another qabil. What kind of mentality is that?
Well, first there is nothing wrong with that mentality because we are qabiil based society.
All elections should have one man one vote, now if he goes to cabudwaaq, to run for office and he looses the election it's because he did not get majority of vote.
Why would someone Go to caabuqwaaq and leave Mogadishu? and why cant everyone stay in their hometowns in the first place?
Now lets take present day xamar, we all know the support that the people living there whether they were bantu, hawiye, reer xamar, rahanwayne, etc gave to Farmajo. If he we were to run in an election for some kind of seat in xamar based on voting by the people, he would be automatically disqualified by this mentality based not on his merits but on his qabil. Despite the fact that he is overwhelmingly popular. The reason he became popular is because of the change he was able to bring, and that is because he was given a chance.
Farmaajo was the premier of Somalia and i assure he would be laughed at if he run for mayor of mogadishu?
Personally I think this mentality is a reaction to what people believe were the policies of the last government, where they thought people got positions because of their qabil, and the local people were disenfranchised. But instead of moving forward, they want to establish that for themselves. It's like how a general wants to top a dictator not because he is bad, but he wishes he was the dictator.
Federalism is adopted to satisfy qabiil urges and make everyone develop his degaan.
Xamar is a federal city and will remain so despite what that guy might say or argue. Xamar is the size it is because the resources of the whole country for the last 60 years was put into it. Every Somali has a right to i
No thanks, xamar is destroyed, and with the help of the revenues of the port and airport, the local people can slowly put it back in just few years.

By your logic, then since the ports, airports & roads of Barbera, Boosaaso & Kismaayo were built through the tax money of all Somalis, then they shouldn't become a Qabiil city. No clan built its own ports, airports or roads & hence applying one set of rules on Mogadishu & another set on all others is a declaration of war. It will not succeed.

Well kinda, I have some records that say Afgooye was bigger but in reality Xamar has always been the largest city in Somalia. It's one of the oldest cities too.

Xamar was chosen as the capital city because of its historical significance. It was a booming city way before the colonisers let alone the invention of Somalia. The history and culture of the place is what attracted the title.

Sxb, you would have an argument if I first believed xamar was a qabil city, and two that other cities should be qabil based run. I believe in one man one vote for the whole country. If a certain group is majority in a region that will show, but if they are not then it won't show. If hawiye is majority in Mogadishu than it will show, what is there to fear? No need to impose some jim crow version of a law in Xamar. America elected a half black president, and they were segregated not too long ago, and slaves not too distant long ago. Why are you so backwards?
