Kolombo already summarized what this sect is. I advise everyone to stay away from them because these people bring nothing good for muslims, but only hate and fitna. They have broken numerous families and marriages because husband is not salafi enough and after that they marry divorced lady to one of their own and circulate her like a used rag. Funny how you see that their women most times have numerous divorces behind her and children from many different men.

To these people Islam is all about their sect. All they do is talk about other people and groups and spend their time about discussing is this person or this shaikh a salafi and talking about sects and attributing every muslim to one of them. They are the most rude, arrogant and bad-mannered people from the muslims I've ever come accross and you can see like all the raxma and naxariis from their hearts is gone. Brotherhood in Islam means nothing to them. City where I'm living, maybe over 90% of all the problems between different mosques and muslims is originated from their actions. And same time I can't think even one thing how they benefitted muslim ummah here or what good they contributed.

They hate Jihad and mujahidin with passion, while same time love corrupt and oppressive non-islamic governments in Middle-East and make up thousand of excuses for them. They discourage muslims to read news and politics for the same reason. They are also biggest snitches and actually believe that by turning other muslims to the police they get ajr. If you hear a khutba in a mosque discussing politics and sad plight of muslims today, or denouncing local salafis, then be sure that already salafis called police and accused your imam of being a terrorist.

And about the use of arabic language: Usually you see only people who know only few dozen words in arabic using them in every situation possible just to make themselves look more religious and knowledgeable in the eyes of ignorants. People who actually know arabic don't have to prove anything and stick in the language that is discussed. This is another salafi strait.

I honestly have never seen a sadder group of people in my life. I have actually never taken the time to post on a forum or spend much time going through all of the posts . So this is a first for me ; which ofcourse I felt neccessary to defend this religion which I love soo much . This Salafi fitna that you refer to .. firstly is part of Ahlul-Sunnah WaJam'a ; It is the saved sect . You guys call yourselves Muslims but All I see here is the backbiting and gossiping and the eating of flesh of these women !!! How dare you act as though you feel sorry or care about the well being of these woman yet you clearly spread rumors and things they themselves would dislike. Wallahi I have only posted this because I feel sad about the lies and evil words you say about this Salafi manhaj . May Allah guide you and me .. This manhaj is to practice this religion upon the understanding of the Salaf .. the understanding of the Quran and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salafi As-Saalih .. If you have not noticed there are deviant ppl within every race,country,goverment and yes within every sect as well .. So how can you judge this manhaj based a few ppl ? If you want to know what is the view point or idealogy of a salafi sister .. go read the Quran , go read the Shaheeh Hadith , go take from the scholars she takes from ! .. They didn't mention anyone by name, they were merely expressing concern as to the problems this ideological sect is causing amongst Somali's. These people are making the deen harder than it should be and so people should be discussing it without being made to feel bad about it, Islam is a religion of moderation and thats how it should be practiced.

CCL, in what case do salaf's make the deen harder to anyone? it is true that their manhaj is very strict, but it is argueably the closest to the manhaj of the salaful saaliheen, the pious predeccesors. anyway most scholars agree that we should take the best from all groups, so for instance, we should take from the ikhwan their revolutionary ideas, from the tableegh their manners and ettiquets etc
